    In addition to being a leader in the pulp and paper industry, APP China is also actively expanding its real estate business with parent company Sinar Mas Group. To date, APP China and Sinar Mas Group have constructed several large-scale urban complexes in core locations in Shanghai. These include Shanghai Sinar Mas Plaza, the Shanghai Bund Center and Shanghai Arch etc. The Group's urban real estate strategy places an emphasis on developing Shanghai as a springboard into the rest of the country, through which the Group will seize further opportunities to accelerate its expansion.

    Shanghai Sinar Mas Plaza is located in the North Bund Commercial and Financial CBD, forming one corner of the triangle that makes up the Bund and Lujiazui. The urban complex consists of 420,000 square meters of integrated Grade A office space, dedicated shopping and entertainment space, and the W Shanghai hotel. Among these, the Grade A office building totals nearly 150,000 square meters of space across 67 floors, offering an unrivalled view of the Shanghai Puxi Riverside skyline. Home to the world's largest LED screen on the exterior of the building, Shanghai Sinar Mas Plaza is a new landmark on Shanghai's' iconic Bund waterfront.

    Located in Shanghai's Changning District, Shanghai Arch is an urban complex with 148 meters of AAAAA grade office building and an 88,000 square meter garden-style shopping mall. Designed by legendary architect John Portman, the modern gate-shaped building represents the grand "Gate of Shanghai. As a AAAAA grade office building, Shanghai Arch has set a new standard for high-quality office space in the Hongqiao business district. Since its completion in 2014, the complex has been home to a number of renowned domestic and international tenants, and its unique garden-style shopping environment provides consumers with a wealth of shopping and dining options.

    Located in Shanghai's iconic Bund district, the Shanghai Bund Center was designed by Portman Architects and opened in 2002. It includes 50 floors of office buildings, two 26-floor buildings for the Westin Shanghai Bund Center, the Banyan Tree Spa, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Since its opening, the Bund Center has become the headquarters or preferred office for many multinational companies including Deloitte, the Consulate General of Norway in Shanghai, the Consulate General of South Africa in Shanghai, Clifford Chance, and others.

     

    The award-winning Westin Bund Center is dedicated to providing endless comfort for its tenants and visitors. The Center includes a mixture of both Asian and Western dining and entertainment facilities that bring together cultures from around the world to create a comfortable environment with stunning scenery. Today, the Bund Center is the hosting place for many public, commercial, and cultural events, including economic forums, annual meetings, and international fashion events.
